“The duo, “Bad For Bizness,” stopped in and did a real nice bunch of songs. These guys always pick cool songs, and they are sounding good! Everyone dug their set, and their friends were hilarious. As they were performing, they reached in their pockets and purses, and hung bras, and panties all over the stage. It was too much fun! Thanx guys!”

“After that, “Bad For Bizness” took the stage (Doug Sibble, and Don Van Pelt). These guys are really sounding good. They just started working up some songs, and playing at the open mike, this summer. I can’t believe how good they are sounding, so quickly. Both of them sing, although Doug handles the “lion’s share” of the vocals. They both play guitar. When they did “One” by U2, it gave me chills. And there is no question that they have the “sexiest” following. So you know that they’re doing something right! Great job! “

BAD FOR BUSINESS ROCKS!

(2/20/08) Picture the scene at Lock 24 in Baldwinsville last night: a relaxing post-dinner crowd, drinks at the bar, acoustic music of all types playing in the background. Those who went home early missed the biggest treat of the night, as Don VanPelt and Doug Sibble, now better known together as Bad For Business, plugged in their acoustic guitars and closed the open mic show with a rockin’ set of songs. Extending their 15-minute alloted time slot to nearly an hour with encore performances, Bad For Business delighted their familiar fans and made several new ones as well. Practice really makes perfect for these guys, as they opened with their very polished versions of Disarm and Wonderwall. By tossing in a new cover of 6th Avenue Heartache, these boys show they are committed to expanding their repertoire. Finishing out their carefully-planned set with their best version of One to date, the crowd couldn’t get enough. At least five encores later, they wrapped things up, with a sincere promise to play Fat Bottomed Girls soon. Once again, these guys have proven that there’s some real talent behind those big white smiles! Everyone will be staying tuned for more…..
