Who’ll Stop the Rain?

For a brief moment, it looked like Doug would have his moment in the solo spotlight.  But, in the end, nothing could stand in the way of a great time at last night’s Bad For Business show at the Bridge Street Tavern.  Not technical difficulties that included broken guitars and a record number of snapped strings.  Not rainy weather that threatened to push the crowd inside and leave the band to fend for themselves on the patio.  Instead, new guitars and strings were found, and not-so-fat-bottomed girls danced all night barefoot in the rain by the Tiki bar.

Once again, Bad For Business, the acoustic duo of Don VanPelt and Doug Sibble, provided their fans with an opportunity to enjoy some great music and forget about their long day for a few hours.  Once the minor technical problems were solved, VanPelt and Sibble were back to showing off their great vocal and guitar skills, flashing their great smiles, and bantering with the crowd to get things going.  If you’re reading this, then you know why time after time the crowd will slide into place for their show.

Hooking up with the opening act of Frank & Burns for the final few encore songs left the crowd begging for more.  Each time BFB takes the stage, they just get better and better.  After last night’s rocking hot show, there should be no doubt left about BFB being the band that gets the crowd going best at the Bridge Street Tavern!
